Qigong consists of two words: qi (energy) and gong (skill). Taken together these words suggest a practice oriented towards regulating physiology. And, in fact, qigong is just such an exercise. It consists of gentle movements alternating with some periods of stillness. There are hundreds of styles but they all aim to integrate body movement, breath and thought leading to improved health. Greg Curtiss will be teaching this class. As a holistic therapist, Greg has helped clients for over 16 years. He graduated from the Florida College of Integrative Medicine at the top of his class and, along with the Master of Science degree in Oriental Medicine that he received there, has two other Master’s degrees. Greg is fully licensed in Florida as an Acupuncture Physician (AP 2863) and Massage Therapist (MA 47706).
His widely ranging studies and work experience provide the context for truly effective healing. He sees clients of all ages from babies and toddlers to children and teens to adults and seniors. Greg received advanced training in treating neurological challenges and physical conditions such as chronic pain and now specializes in these areas.
